We were so glad to have Barnabas Chapman and his sweet little family minister to us again this past Sunday. He brought a powerful message about totally surrendering your life to God because we were created to glorify Him. He urged us to get away from a "me" centered mentality and seek God in everything that we do.

Wes Latham delivered a message this week about yearning for God. He emphasized 3 things in scripture that point to an enemy that we need to dissolve:
1. Idols-Ezekiel 14
1. Idols-Ezekiel 14
- We feel a desire for something that turns into a demand. The demand eventually turns into a right. This destroys our passion for God. We must allow God to take control of our heart.
2. Pride-James 4:1-7
- Pride is our enemy and humility is our best friend. We must submit ourselves to God.
- God is kind and has mercy, but there comes a point when he will lift his hand from you.
What is in our hearts that we are holding before God?
Is what I am doing going to get me more of God?

Darrell Marion brought a great message this week about putting our spiritual needs before the wants and desires of our physical body. He encouraged us to seek God as our only source of comfort and to be impressed by God rather than trying to impress God. He said, "Flesh is concerned about being taught about God and the spirit is taught by God."

Easter Service
Dusty Garrison ministered to us this past Sunday. He delivered a great message about the resurrection. He brought out 3 main points to consider:
1. God desires to be in a relationship with us. He wants us to know him.
- God is committed. How committed am I?
- Relationship requires commitment.
2. God takes sin seriously.
- Wrath and love cannot be separated.
3. There will be a day of judgment.
-God says "not guilty" if we are living for Jesus.
Verses:
Acts: 17:22
Psalm 51:3,4
Romans 8:34
